Default Almost Finished

I took all the old chipped up paint off of the butt plate on the stock of the $30.00 Renegade and blued it. Now all I want to do is get some Evapo Rust and treat the barrel even though it's not bad. I need it for the $20.00 Bobcat anyway, it's a rust bucket. That one will be a really big project. I'm looking forward to it.

If you need a stock for a bobcat I have an extra wood or synthetic.

Everything is OK except for the barrel. Thanks anyway.

Thanks. I think you'll appreciate it more when I post some decent pictures. I can't wait to show it to the original owner.

I took the dark pictures off and put in new ones of the $30.00 Renegade.

There is one thing you need to be careful of with Evapo-Rust it takes bluing off just as good as it takes off rust.

It looks great. I was very fortunate that mine was in new condition when I bought it and unfired:

Mine is actually a "Big Boar". It is in .58 cal and I love shooting it. I am shooting PRBs through it now and am still looking for the right conical for it.

Yes, that's what I hear. And I just spent all that time refinishing the outside of the barrel.
