Sometimes Fate Smiles Upon You
There aren't many dedicated frontstuffers in my area. So I'm about the only guy who posts anything about muzzleloaders on a local shooter's forum. As a result, I just received the PM below from a guy in Thibodaux Louisiana. (That's "Tib-oh-dough" for the Francaise challenged. :s2: )
I have been given several years worth of old Muzzle Blasts magazines by an elderly friend. It's the monthly publication of the NMLRA (Nat'l Muzzle Loading Rifle Assoc.). These particular issues date from the early to mid 1970's and contain some interesting historical, how-to and hunting articles, as well as legislative updates of the time. I'm still going through them but, once read will have no further use for them. I don't want to see them destroyed and don't want to piecemeal them out to different folks. None of my close shooting buddies are passionate about front loaders, so I thought if you were interested I'd pass them onto you. My only request is that you too not destroy them, and if/when you decide you no longer want them, find someone else who would appreciate them and keep them intact to be passed on yet again. If they're something you'd like to have, let me know. Once I'm finished going through them, I can drop them off to you on my way into New Orleans. I don't know when I'll actually get them. But after I read them and scan whatever reference stuff I want into my computer I may consider passing them along as a package. The line forms on the right (those who lean to the left need not apply :s3: ). |
This is the line right?

I used to get that publication. A lot of excellent information in there.
