Is there a sabot for a .44 cal. bullet?

Sure! MMP and Harvester make them.

by .44 caliber you are talking a .429-.430 diameter bullet and sabot.

I am talking about these. Do you see anything else I might be able to get .50 cal. sabots for here?

WOW! It looks like there's a lifetime supply of bullets on this reloading table. All I need to do is get the propper sabot's and I'll be set. Oh, I'll probably need quite a bit of powder.

Why would you want to use all them Bullets when you possibly already have the Perfect Bullet Sabot Combo already that works well for you? Sure you can try this one and that one with this Sabot and that Sabot, but it seems to me you'll be doing a-lot of shooting, re-sighting in and wasting a-lot of Powder for nothing more than to use up them Bullets?

I would at least try the 10mm 200gr XTP in a 40x50 sabot and any 200gr 44s 200gr or more unless you got a 45cal ML too. Then some of the lighter 40cals would make fun plinkers with light 45cal loads. The 200gr XTP is a fairly good bullet in a 50cal for a reduced recoil deer load too.

BTW im looking for some 357 or maybe 358 HPs or soft points in 180gr+. ;)

I only shoot sabots out of my Brolin Arms rifle, the one made in China. But with this availability of bullets I might try some. I just need to get some sabots. If you remember I had to go and buy some Thompson Center XTP's with sabots to try with my new Green Mountain Long Range Hunter barrel. And I haven't tried them yet. Besides, I like to shoot and it gives me something to do in the off season untill crabbing season starts.

Once you get sighted, you might be surprised how close some hit to your zero...Right now, I can use 250SSTs, 250 Hornady .451 XTPs and 300 Hornady .430 XTPs...The 250s hit about 2 inches high at 100 yards and the 300s are dead on at 100...I've killed deer with all of these bullets through the years...All of these are sighted in with either 80gr or 85grs of Goex FFF...

Shoot plukit shoot as much as you can with different bullets and sabots - it only makes you better.... Nothing replaces practice and knowledge....
