getting excited
So, went down to the local stores today and picked up pyrodex rs ffg powder, remington #11 caps, a caping tool, and some other goodies in preperation for receiving my new englander this week. I can't wait to shoot it and start another chapter in the muzzleloading world. Thanks to all who provided advice along the way.

OH! Gee Whiz!!! you really have the disease!!!! you really should check with Doctor Semi.. for some words of wisdom, but I am really afraid it is to late for you... Welcome to the wonderful world of muzzleloading... 1-2-3 ML's will never be enough.... |
yeah, that makes two inlines for me...been doing that about 7 years...but this is my first traditional one and I am pumped...definately have a disease as you say.

Good luck with your New Englander. They really are a great rifle. I am sure you will be more then pleased with how well it shoots. All of mine shoot excellent. On one of them, I even mounted a Simmons Pro Sport 4x32mm scope. Makes it pretty cool to shoot.

Good luck with your first (not likely your last) sidehammer mnprohunter. Those New Englanders are nice carry guns too.
