I believe the person who put this pistol together put the front sight on backwards. What do you think? If I was to try to reverse it how hard do you think it would be to do it? The reason I ask is because the hardest thing to do when putting together my Hawkins kit was to put the front sight on. It was a bear to beat that thing into the groove for it. If it's going to be that hard to do I'll just leave it alone.

Yep, it's in backwards...

It shouldn't be that hard to install...I taper the base on the sight a bit when installing...If it needs to be tightened after sighting in, just use a center punch and stake where the barrel meets the base...

I slso file a 45 degree angle on the back of the sight to help catch the light from the sky...

Do you think it would be possible, or ethical to harvest a deer with it? It would be legal to hunt with in my state since it can use the minimum required amount of powder in a pistol which is 40 grains.

i'd pass. Its just to big of a chance of wounding a big game animal. Great for rabbits though!

Yeah your back sight is on backwards. Easy fix
