Impact Problem

Been following your threads and thought I would post.
I have been shooting MZs for the last 25 yrs. I have a TC New Englander kit gun 54 cal. and a TC Fire Hawk 54cal. Both excellent guns with no problems.
Just bought the Impact.Took it to the range and it performed great.Fired about 15 rounds of 240 gr xtp with CR sabots. 70 to 100 gr 777.
Got home removed the breech plug and cleaned the gun.I did not disassemble.A few days later I got the MZ out to show a friend and realized while holding the gun in a shooting position, the barrel will move left to right about 1/4 inch. The movement is felt through the forearm.I broke the gun down as per the manual and can see the pivot pin in the block is loose.(as though the pin is smaller than the housing.
I hope this is just a glitch with TC and not an indicator of things to come.
TC is closed until Monday so I have not been able to contact them yet.

I have read every review about the impact that is online and i have seen nothing but praises for the rifle and it's out of the box accuracy. no mention of your problem at all. call T/C and they will make it right.

The reviews are good and I know TC will take care of the problem. I have not seen any other problems posted anywhere else.
Overall the gun is great.

I was very impressed with how well the gun would shoot. The groups were tight out to a hundred yards W/scope.My 10 year old grandson was drilling the center at 50 yards w/70 gr. 777. (He was ready to take the gun home with him. I Know what his birthday present will be). LOL
