Default Ohio season getting close!

Ohio muzzleloader season is almost here. It is nice to have something to look forward to, with our archery season being so long.

My son missed a doe today with his bow, so I know he is ready to hunt with his muzzleloader too. I think he is tired of having to get the yardage down to + or - 1 yard. He really wanted to get a deer with his compound, but he has decided to close the deal with the smoke stick.

I'm looking forward to that as well.

BTW- Do we need to wear Orange in The ML season?

Sure do. Hunter orange is required for everything but archery season. Good luck!

That is only 45 minutes from where I live. There are some big bucks in that area. Good luck. I bet you will be close to laurelville in hocking county.

Yes, Bremen is close to Lancaster. I think it is in licking county, which usually has the highest harvest rate in the state.
