Again!

I took my Optima out with some 385gr buffalo bullets. 70gr bh209, cci 209m primers. Had 3 bullets into one little hole and one "yes the 5th shot!" an inch and a half outside that group.

I scoot back to 72 yards and it turns into a shot gun pattern!

One thing i noticed was a huge amount of tar building up at the muzzle from the lube on the bullets. 6 rounds was more than enough before i called it quits.

The lee minies do the same thing to me but ive come to feel that their problem is inconsistent bullet diameter.

Ahhhhh when will the big brown santa truck come with my bullets?? :bash:

Im gettin sick here without being able to shoot accurately LOL.

Dude just clean every 3 rd shot, problem solved! i see this as a non issue lol!your beating your head against the wall, when the answer is in your face.

im shooting blackhorn, no need to swab.

i never could get these buffalo bullets to shoot well in anything. Im just keeping the trigger finger warm while UPS runs my box of bullets around LOL.

Was going to shoot round balls but to cold for wet patch handling.

I never did like Buffalo Bullets myself.I love Maxi Balls though.

My 54 cal TC Renegade just loves buffalo bullets, but thats the only gun I have that likes them.

Well aware you don't need to swab with BH.. the tar you mentioned would be the reason to swab!

MountainDevil54 12-27-2010 07:45 PM

shoot that stuff needed more than swabbing to get out! LOL. It was mainly the wax inside the BGM where it built up. Ive had enough fun with those bullets so i will just set them to the side.

Going to take a break from shooting until my other bullets come in.
