Finally got to go to Bass Pro today and bought some BH 209 and CCI 209 primers. Where should I start with the charge. I was shooting 90g of Pyrodex, then just recently switched to 90g of 777 with very tight groups at 80 yrds. I am shooting T/C Shock Waves 250g.

Where are you located? Been trying to find CCI primers locally, no luck.

I weigh all of my loads as I have not figured out what in sams hill is the standard for a "volumetric" measurement. After a few phone calls and reading everything I could find on this powder, I choose to use .668gr weight to equal 1gr vol.meas? I start with 66.8gr(wt)= 100gr(vol?) . Out of our TC Omega and TC Encore we are using by weight 68.5gr BH209 using 250gr Barnes TMZ boat tails w/Win 209 primers. I tried up to 73gr(wt),ouch,it hammered me and was too much for the 250gr sabot.

Just shot 10 rounds out of my Wolf using BH 209, CCI 209M. Didn't have a target up to see how well I was shooting, but was hitting about the same spot on the stump every time. I was worried it won't shot more than maybe one or two if any. But it shot all 10 very nicely. What a RUSH.

I shot the TC shockwaves out of my TC Pro Hunter with 115gr of BH 209 and using Harvester black CR sabots. Shot a 1" 5 shot group @ 100.

Try the Yellow Harvester CR sabots with the Barnes TMZ.
