Scoping the genesis

Well since I've decided to keep the Remington/Traditions I need some advice one scope mounts. I've heard that the cam block hits on low mounts, so I'm curious about medium mounts? Should I just stick with high mounts? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I used T/C mounts I bought at WalMart. I think they are called "gorilla grip" or something like that. I'd guess they are medium height. No clearance issues.

I used see thru mounts on the one I scoped, and they had a ton of clearance. I'd think for sure you could get away with a set of high rings, but I'm not sure about mediums.

This is what I've used on all of my Genesis'.

I went to Traditions and bought their base for the Yukon. Then I purchased a set of medium and a set of high quick release rings from them. There quick release will not break the bank at least, and so far have been excellent. I mounted a Nikon Omega on my Genesis. The medium rings were not high enough. The cam hit the rear of the scope. The high set worked perfect. It is a great set up.
