nothing wrong at all with upgrading. Look at all the aftermarket parts out there for rifles, pistols, muzzle loaders, even Bows. Then you got aftermarket parts for $60,000 trucks to make them perform better.

CVA used the rubber grip panels for better gripping in foul weather. Anyone that has both a V1 and V2 normally will tell you that the V2 feels better with the extra grip. I like my V2 better than my v1 due to just the grip panels. It really helps in cold weather.

My favorite bullet is the Thor. I love the fact that i can use an easy recoil 250gr bullet and go after elk without any worry. Cant do that with lead.

"CVA does not have a history of not being able to shoot conicals. TC has such poor belief in their rifles that they wont shoot conicals, that they will straight out tell you not to bother. Instead of fixing the problem and making everyone happy, they just keep their head turned the other way."

Not True
What they do say is that their guns are designed to shoot sabots.
I have 3 close breach an Omega, a Triumph and an Endeavor and two old open breach inlines and they will all shoot some conicals some of the Bull Shops heavier bullets like the 460 will shoot in all of them the FPB and the Thor will shoot in all of them. I have yet to see a muzzle loader that did not like some bullets better than others. Some of the problem is with people that do not know the tricks we learned about getting them to shoot back about the time you were born, when our choices were limited to PRB and lead Conical.
And remember when you are pushing CVA that they are the only company that ever had so many guns blow up in peoples faces that they were being sued nation wide and in other countries.

So what your saying is CVA didn't clone all these things they upgraded? lol ok upgraded to make there product better? what? MD your still not answering the questions.and if you read my post regarding lead bullets you will see i hunt with copper at the moment and practice with lead, to save a few bucks.i am sure the thor is a great bullet, especially since it starts out as a barnes lol.i use the barnes TEZ .250 gr myself.that may change here soon since i am going to try the 300 gr deep curls soon and depending on accuracy that may become my go to bullet.the B.C. on the 300 deep curl is excellent and at just .50 grs more than the .250 deep curl, it's sounds like a accurate long range capable bullet.my point is and always has been if you want lead why a PB? when there are a lot better lead bullets out there at far less cost.the barnes and the deep curls are very close in the terminal performance category.cost VS performance is a issue with myself and a lot of people that shoot M/L rifles. especially since all of our jobs have been shipped out of the country and so many people are out of work:poke: head on down to the T/C plant where those people are losing there jobs and have this discussion! oh another question..is it legall to feed deer in colorado now?

The Kodiaks and WinApex by BPI were very close clones of the Omega.

How many years were T/C and other US companies making stainless guns before CVA started? Then hyped how much better it was than nickel plating. They acted like it was new to MLs.....yup, new for them.

This is a better deal than a dream season.
