long night of working on my 54
I started working on my 54cal for tomorrow before I checked the weather, 25 to 35mph winds 40+ mph gust, no range session tomorrow, I don't feel like blowing away.
trying to get the hammer to hit right, closer. the hammer ended up not ****ing at all. massed with it all night. about 10mins ago, I figured it out. first thought it was an lock problem. by mistake, I figured it out, it was the set trigger. it was keeping the gun from ****ing. massed with it until it ****ed right. plans for next year are, new trigger group and an new or rebuild the lock. |
Corey, do the work BEFORE you start suckin back on grandpa ol cough medicine! Just ask Semisane!
LOL j/k Glad you are figuring out what was causing the problem |
I did tonight then hit some good stuff

Sorry to hear you are having problems again with that rifle. I would be about fit to be tied. I hate when a rifle acts up.
I am starting to go into shooting with draw. I need to hit the range. Even if the wind is blowing and it is snowing and cold. I just need to shoot real soon... |

If you don't get it right the first time then every thing you did wrong has to be fixed before you can get it right.
It could end up making you feel inane. |
