Just read that in 2011 Powerbelt will be introducing a new bullet called the Aerolite.

Dudley wrote this in a response to someone on the cva blog,

It is a very long bullet, but is kept light by having a very large hollow point cavity that is then filled with an equally large hard polycarbonate aerotip. This allows the 250 bullet to be as long as a 300 grain standard or Platinum PowerBelt. This extra length and the aerodynamic shape of the bullet make it incredibly accurate -- I am talking 100 yard groups with all holes touching! Also, these AeroLites are "tuned" to perform best with 100 grain charges -- what most shooters actually use -- and with velocities produced by 100 grain charges they are devastating. They can also be used effectively with magnum charges, as long as the range is far enough for the speed to have reduced to about 1800 FPS or below. We will start shipping these early in 2011."

There are already a lot of bullets on the market that are superior to PB bullets..so who cares !

I plan on getting a small supply and try them out in my rifles, especially with how they hold up.

Until people try something else lol!

I just cant see paying retail pricing for a PB when Barnes or Lehighs are about the same price and far more effective.

But to each his own. My buddy uses PBs and every year they blow up on him and yet he continues to use them. Some folks are just set in their ways.

Reason! Because that is what the guy behind the counter pushes to get the customer shooting as quickly and easily as possible.

But i would also suggest that they are better for hunting than a PRB... but then there are a lot of folks that would not even agree with that.

Them and Pellets - quickest and easiest way to shoot a ML, usually it does not take long to for most to make the switch...

X1 on that, sabotloaders reviews along with others on the deep curls got me to try them..all i can say is Wow..as cheap as they are and there and with the outstanding performance why would you even think about a PB? then you have barnes,lehighs and so on to choose from.."mountain" sometimes i think PB is paying you to push there over priced bullets!

-and every store in country has them in stock! I've actually talked to guys who have the philosophy that "they must be good since everyone carries them".
