I'll take a sabot any day over the Powerbelts.I tried them but the only advantage I could see was easier loading.I get better accuracy for far less cost using sabots.

Thanks for the replies guys... I ended up going with Hornady 45 Cal 300grn ftx's paired up with TC Shockwave sabots. Gonna have em sitting on top of 100grn Triple 7... Now I can't wait to hobble out to the range and send some down range, then off to the woods!

The guys on here are so full of knowledge, I don't know why I would even post this, but what the heck. I have shot PB for about 5 years. But, on game, most didn't bleed right away...making for hard tracking. The last straw was seeing how the bullet fragmented. The guys on here were most helpful in telling me that if I wanted to keep shooting PB on deer, dial down the load to 80 gr of 777 pellets instead of 100gr. So this year, I will be trying barnes tez. Muzzle season starts for me in about 3 days...so we'll see how these perform compared to powerbelts. I am carrying some powerbelts with me in case for some reason I need to shoot a few times...because they load way way easier after shooting a couple times. Good luck and have fun this season.
