well, ol man winter is moving in! 3 winter storm warning in effect for tomorrow.
We went up over 10,000 feet today near La Veta and it was in the mid 60's. Not even a single deer or elk spotted! Just squirrels.

Well after 4 days " we took today off" we've seen 40 + turkey and one deer. Sad! If you ever get the chance to hunt Unit 85 in Colorado - DON'T! This place sucks! After this hunt, its back to our original stomping grounds that has more available land to hunt thats not all straight up or down. Well 4 more days left to go, hopefully we'll at least get to see some elk, even if we cant shoot them.
We took these Nov 9th. Early morning with a snow storm blowing in. It gets freezing up there at 11,400 feet! The elk though we were told are still up high
Dad and I,
brother and i walking back to the truck,
Some of my favorite pictures,
My most favorite due to the darkness with the blue/white clouded up sky in the back ground.
