Shoot the one that shoots the best! And your Missing out on some fine Hunting in the Rain, I see a-lot of Buck Movement during the Rain. Mabey because the Bucks know that People dont like it and ar'nt out in it so they move then.
But when I Hunt in the Rain (Bow or ML) I make Damn Sure Im going to get a Perfect Shot or I wont take it because you wont have much of a Blood Trail to follow.

they shot the same, but I take my old knight usak,

reason why I don't hunt in the rain, I got caught in an major down pour one time, soaked to the bone, no rain gear, said I would never hunt in the rain again. I think about all the deer roaming end up looking out the window at the woods right in my front yard

Good rain gear is a must. Inexpensive scopes can be quite servicable, but don't scrimp on rain gear.

Do what I do and Suggest $$$ or a Gift Card For Christmas. My Family and Friends pretty much know Im Impossible to buy for, as If I needed it, I already have it. Im pretty picky when it comes to what I Buy and use for Hunting, so they've all given up trying to get me anything and just give me $$$ and let me get what I really want.
So that may work for YOU Too. Now dont think Im (Unappreciative) in getting Gifts, I Not, it's just that 99% of what I got in the past was lets say not what I'd use or wear.
So Now I get $$$ and or Cabela's Gift Cards and that makes me and Evryone else Happy and me Easy to Buy for, It's Sure Much Better than a (Pink Bunny Suit) And YES some Good Rain Gear is a Must Have.

Oh my goodness... that just would never work at my house. Kidding of course. Families have to decide what they need the most and then purchase accordingly. I am sure Jess has reasons for her feelings.

I would take the Apex as it might be more rain proof. Also get some rain gear. A good rain jacket is a must. Also water proof (not water resistant) boots are a must. Your feet and socks get wet, you are all done in my book. Cabela's has some good rain suits on sale from time to time. Watch their bargain cave.
