parker's Hydracon

I talked to Bob Parker on the phone tonight and he was saying that the Traditonal Hunter and the Hydracon have the same point of impact, I ordered some .52 cal 530 gr. in both to see how they shoot in the knight disc Extreme,. He designed them specifically for Knight. He recommended not to go over 130 gr of powder, even more preferably around 110.I will let you know next week how they shoot. Or have any of you .52 cal shooters tried them?? I know that
530 gr is a big chunk of lead.

Won't help. How about a Forum Rondy and shooting competition in April instead? Don't forget that. :barmy:

A 52cal Parker and a 375gr RedHot shootout sounds painful :D

Oh, I haven't forgotten that.

prolly not... you will not belive how nice the recoil pad is on a Knight 52 stock. It is a really soft contact rubber... So so soft it stays right in your shoulder after shooting. Completely different pad than what comes on the normal Knight.

But, none the less - 530 is certainly a heavy weight.... Might have to run over and look at them Parker's live in the Troy, ID area about 8 miles from here...

I love a good recoil pad, so that's good to know. If you live that close you should definitely check the parkers out. The hydracon is a little expensive ( each handmade)because it is so time consuming to make .But the Traditional hunter could be used to sight in and the hydracon for hunting.
