Default Oh Well - just as expected

Well the PA early ML season has come and gone without me dropping the hammer on an anterless deer. But as suspected, last evening, the final evening of the season what walks out of the thick stuff? Oh, just your average tall racked 8 pt. stand broadside at about 40 yds working a scrape. It took a lot of convincing on my part cause my trigger finger was twitching like mad. But the good news is that archery season is still going on and I predict the buck will be chasing sometime around Saturday. I will probably hunt my usual spot as I know there are 3 buck and give this spot to my buddy. He hasn't been seeing anything this year and hasn't gotten a deer in the past 2 years.

Sorry about your lack of success.
I though PA was supposed to be full of deer. Do you hunt public land? If you haven't been seeing good numbers of deer where you are, maybe it's time to look for better hunting grounds.

Good Luck connecting on that nice 8-pointer - be sure to let us know.
