when I had a pursuit I used 100 gr. of loose pryodex and a 250 sst in the red sabot. It shot well but sucked at deer. I hit a doe from about 45 yards and it stumbled, but then took off like a rocket. I never did find it in the thick brush that I was in. I can't say that my shot placement was great, but this isn't a first time case with this bullet. If I was you I would work up a load with the 300 gr deer curl and a crush rib sabot, ought to hit like a train!

What is the difference between TC 240gr XTP mags and Hornady 240gr XTP? I picked up some TC XTPs from walmart tonight thinking that is what everone has been talking about. Should I take them back for the Hornadys? Thanks.
