This whole thread might be mostly non-existent if the original author had any credibility at all.

oh i have the proof to back it up, heck i even warned the person about getting some emails about me duplexing. He pretty much just chuckled and said, i know some have a problem with duplexing but they dont mind it when using pyrodex pellets or flash powder.

If that person was worried about the safety, he'd straight up tell me not to do it.

Chet,

Thank you for the e-mail. Yes, I did tell him it was OK. IN THIS CASE, this type of primer charge will not increase pressures or cause a negative effect. You might think of it as a kin to the black powder charge pressed in the bottom of a pyrodex pellet or even a flash pan powder that ignites the primary charge in a flint lock.

Best regards,
Don Luhr

Why should i post the emails just to prove something? When it comes to safety, that is something i am straight up and honest about.

MD

You know as weird as this sounds - I think on this one point you are straight up, not that what I think counts anyway...

Well, since we seem to be working on the world's longest thread with 95 replies and 1,508 views so far, I thought I would add to it by posting reply #96 with a picture we can all agree on.

Edited: Forget it, after reading more of this thread I'm reminded why I don't bother with any board frequented by Grouse or SL anymore. Question is, is Grouse man enough to admit he was wrong and apologize? I doubt it.
