Pics of Gold Dots???

Any of you guys have any pics of the 250 and 300gr .452 gold dots. Maybe a side by side shot. I've seen lots of pics of how they look after they were shot but can't find a clear pic of the bullet before. Just interested in this bullet. Thanks for the help.

Scott

Not sure if this will help you with the picture you are after. But in the bottom row is a picture of the 250 and the 300, before shooting.

That does help. I knew there was a picture somewhere but couldn't find it. Thanks again sabotlolader. Which one do you get the best long range accurracy from. Is the 300gr. bullet over kill? I'll be hunting whitetails here in Florida with the chance of shooting some big hogs. The deer are usually around 125 to 150 lbs. but the hogs can get big. Will the 250gr bullet do the job? Sorry about all the questions.

Yes and no... I believe you will get the better long range performance from the 300 and NO - it probably is not an over kill - it might be added insurance - but I believe the 300 will work at all ranges - down side - it is few cents more expensive than the 250.... upside - the 300 has a much better BC...

Git the 300 grain and do not even worry about it...

Now that we know the 250g Gold Dot/Deep Curl was designed for use in the 45 colt, and the 300g Deep Curl/Gold Dot is intended for use in the 454 Casull, it is quite obvious the 300g is a better choice for use on dem hawg.

That's the conclusion I had come to also. The 300 has a better BC and sectional density. Plus it just looks more aerodynamic without that big hollow point the 250 has. Thanks again guy for all your help.
