painting composite stocks?

I am thinking about buying a CVA Accura, but do not like the gray coloring in the stock, can it be painted or covered somehow easily?

Thank you - MP

there are quite a few options. if your doing it yourself youll need to prep the stock depending on what your gonna use. krylon makes spray paint that sticks to plastic. just follow the instructions. you can also have it camo dipped but its like 75$. what color or pattern are you looking for ? if cva has other colors in stock i would just buy a new one and sell the old one. krylon also makes webbing paint in a spray can that might look nice too add to your gray stock. whatever you do just give it a clear coat in flat or satin when your done to protect the finish better. duracoat paint is an option too. just do a search.

When painting plastic prep and paint selection are key

Why not give (Sabotloader) a PM and get the guy that he had Paint his Stocks on his MLers, they looked good.
One other thing and Im not trying to be a smart as$. The color of your stock makes no difference in the world to the game you Hunt, they cant see it, well they can but believe me they would'nt notice it if it was Blaze Orange or Pink or Blue. The only thing they will notice is (Movement) that's what gives you away, not the color of the Camoflage on your Stock.
If you just want to Paint it to look good to you or match your Camo Pattern or whatever other reason, fine, but to fool game more it wont matter.

Thanks - I just think the black and gray stock on the old Accura is ugly/weird lookin', I would rather have solid black. MP
