T/C made a change
I saw last night on the OutDoor channel a Dream Season Omega is out. Pretty much all the same stuff as the Bone Collector triumph. I wonder if they changed the breech plug?

i just looked that up. All it has is the rubber in the stock.
For $500 is needs more than rubber added IMO http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2...-muzzleloader/ |

They have to pay for all that advertisement!! Tom.

Well they will push them at a high price until the people refuse to purchase them and then the stores will drop the price like always. The inlines no longer interest me much. I have about all of them I need. Although I do like T/C products.

I won't be drooling over that one either. Like Cayugad, I'm leaning more and more toward my sidehammers. I have only two inlines and will not likely add any more. The hammer guns with Green Mountain Long Range Hunter barrels will do anything an inline will do, except shoot Blackhorn209 - which I don't care about anyway.

Grouse.......MD.......Is this barrel stainless on the Omega vs that weather shield on the Bone Collector?

Welcome to the high dollar world of TC. I love their Contenders, but not much else.
I put TC in the same catagory as Apple computers. They definitely charge way too much for their products.:confused0024: I too have only two inlines, with the bulk of my ML being sidelocks!:barmy::barmy::barmy: |
I like my new Bone Collector Triumph but as you stated they charge way to much for these guns. My vanity moved me to buy this version because it plesed the eye and over rode common sense. I mean who needs a Deer gun that has Camo pattern on it? Even at close distances the last thing a deer will notice is your rifle which is tiny compared to your big ole body and in my case a rather large noggin. I don't think we should have chrome barrels or pearl stocks on our hunting arms but is camo really needed on anything but say a Turkey gun? To Camo or not to Camo,This is the question! I've returned to my senses of late and have gotten away from all the hype products if you know what I mean. Just because so and so uses it does not make it the best etc. Live and learn or pay more.
