Camo on the Remington 700 ml
Tony, the 'Big Dipper', recently returned another stock that i had him camo for me. He had completed some others for me in the past and on his last visit he discussed this new 'Snow Camo' patter that he really wanted to try. Since I have hnted with the Remington in the past in the winter thought it might be a good one to try the new pattern on.
If my photography did not suck so bad you would see how really nice this or these camo jobs are. I really do like the 'Snow Camo' pattern. I am not convinced for me around here that it would not be just as effective through out our hunting season. Another thing the pictures can not show you the feel of the finished stock. It just feels good... I dis stick my hands in a bucket of water and held the stocked rifle - it did not seem slippery either.... just a good job!!! ![]() |
Very nice. How about e-mailing me that address? Lee

WOW!! the guys got talent. That is really nice. You'd hate to lean that one on a tree on a cold January morning. Very nice looking...

Looks like a good late season color. That would work perfect in Ohio in January.

I don't get it Sabotloader. Why would you put a white color on a gunstock? There's nothing white in the woods during the winter - just green and brown. The only white I ever see is the hind end of a deer. :D
That looks mighty nice. I'm a wood stock kind of guy, but if I were to get a camo one it would be something like that. |
Thats sharp!!!!!!

The Snow Camo looks Great! But it really does'nt matter as you could dress in Full Blaze Orange with a Blaze Orange ML and still get your Quarry, Movement is what gives you away not the Color of your ML.

Don't camo the scope. You should be able to find the rifle leaning againest a tree in a January snow storm that way.
Speaking of snow storms, couldsome one send a little one this way right now? 88F and feels like 92F right now. :D Al |

Movement is what gives you away not the Color of your ML. Camo offers that added abilty... even back in time during the French and Indian War 'Roger's Rangers' practiced the art of deception by wearing 'green' wool uniforms in the eastern forests. Really did tick the English off. Wonder why military snipers bother to hide their rifles by hanging all that camo stuff off their rifles or as matter wear them hot Gilleys suits that they wear? As an added comment I would also add that sounds may be the biggest alerter of a problem to an animal. |
