It sure enough is brutal out there in the heat. But there's no way I could stop shooting until the fall.

Get out the sweat rags boys, there's powder to burn! :s2::s2: (A cool eighty degrees would be nice.)

We had 95 in southern Mn yesterday. I don't know how you southern boys get use to it. Give me 10 below zero anyday.

cayugad 05-25-2010 02:11 PM

 95º yesterday and 93º today. Then the storm came in and it is raining and the temperature has dropped to 73º which is much more comfortable. Looking forward to September when it starts to cool down again.

It was in the low 90's this past weekend with high humidity.

I sort of think that 80 is just down right pleasent. Of course any more I think anything below 20 is on the chilly side of life

 Eighty is just fine. Below 35 is damn COLD!

93 here today. It's so hot even the black flies and mosqitos have bought air conditioners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cayugad 05-26-2010 03:08 PM

Those black flies are what I hate. The mosquitoes only bother me when I am trying to sleep and they want to play music in my ears. But them black flies, I've seen them waiting outside at the picnic table for me to come out so they can chase me around the yard.

Here in Charlotte we have not seen 90 yet. Mid 80s is about it so far. As long as the humidity is down mid 80 are fine by me.I think I would shoot early in the morning before I would quit altogether.I like my 4 seasons down here; a super long cold winter would start getting to me after a while.

RobertSubnet 05-26-2010 04:53 PM

It was in the 90s here in Phoenix today. I was able to take it for a few hours but today was probably the last rifle day until November. It is only going to get hotter for the next 4 months and that is too hot to hump all that stuff to the range.

Now someone like Cayugad has no excuses. Heck if I had a range in my backyard I would probably be shooting in my PJs!

Semisane 05-26-2010 05:59 PM

I believe there's a term for that.

Yesterday and the day before just reminded me how much i hate hot weather, humidity with it makes it even worse. Mid 60's slight breeze and partly cloudy is my kind of weather.

Hah, good one Semi! I did not see that one (ahem) coming.
