Thor II's on the range!
 

Got a small supply of the Thor II's to try out. I wanted to try them out in the Optima as the original .500" Thors are a slip fit and leave me nervous to use during hunting season as im afraid that they would move off the charge. Anyway i wasn't feeling to good today and i did NOT feel like carrying that heavy Lead Sled up to the Range. You all see what i took instead :lol: Very comfortable i must say! And a radio to boot!

I used 100gr Blackhorn209, CCI 209M primers and the 250gr Thor II @ 100 yards. My worse group was 1 1/2". That is, If you can call that bad :!: Pictured is my best 3 shot group, the low shot was my first shot of the day with an oiled up barrel. I have a bad habit of forgetting to swab before i go out.
