ITX round balls - Shot them
 

These came in yesterday evening. I first tried the .487" DIA ball with .018 pillow tick, wow! Never again LOL. I had to use a small mallet and help it down the bore. Today i used 90gr 2f APP .015 patch and the .487 ball, much better! I will have to either use a filler wad or lower my charge to tighten the group but its a start.





I found this by my sand bucket, Not really a penetration test as the sand was dry and rock solid. When i get the Accuracy worked out i will then do a penetration/expansion test on them.

That is a strange looking ball. What is it suppose to do different or what makes it different I guess is a better question.
