Never owned one and some how this doesn't look right but no matter how I try and take it apart I can't make it look right as I don't know how it is supposed to look. An there is no close up in the owners manuel. It fired the primer fine but I'm going to site it in in the am as was just concerned. Just looking for some info or a close up of what it is supposed to look like. I tighted everything and even tried to loose to align the nipple nd it doesn't go, making me think this is the way it supposed to be. To my thinking the niple should be turned another 1/4 turn tighter to align all the groves and nuts.

Yes, that is correct. The breech plug goes in first. Tighten it and then turn it back one quarter turn. Then the 209 nipple is twisted into the breech plug. Remember, after ten shot, give that breech plug and nipple a twist out and then back in. It keeps them from seizing into the rifle.

I have a Black Diamond XR and it is a great rifle. Extremely accurate, but dirty. If you want to protect the belly of that scope, make a bra for it out of duct tape. You can then wipe the fouling off the duct tape and it will protect the scope from the heat of the ignition.
