Default What Scope?

Would an Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 be a good choice for my accura?
Im a little worried about the eye relief.I plan on sighting it in for 100 yards.I DONT want a bdc scope so any reccomendations?I dont want to spend a ton either because im getting a new Optima and will have to get a scope for that as well.
I jsut dont want to get a mark on my head everytime I go to shoot or while hunting.

That scope has a eye relief of 4 inches. I think it would be a great scope for your gun.

When I went to buy a scope for my White Ultra Mag I went to a gun shop. I know the owner and he's a square shooter. I asked him to recommend a scope for the rifle. He kind of laughed and said he could sell me a lot of expensive scopes but he recommended the Nikon Pro Staff in 2-7x32mm. He said he sells a lot of them scopes and no one ever brings one back in, for service or trade.

He also said their light gathering ability is excellent, their clarity is outstanding, they have excellent eye relief, and a great warranty. I did end up buying the scope, and liked it so much I have bought two more for other rifles.

That Pro Staff has sat on top of my White for hundreds of poundings shooting a large conical bullet. Its on Warne QR mounts, and goes back to zero each time. Its a great scope. The only two I like better is my Nikon Omega without the BDC (I do not need one either) and my Bushnell 3200. They were more money though. But not really better quality, I like them for their 40mm.

You will find that 2-7x32mm is all the scope that rifle needs unless your shooting out past 200 yards. Then I might go with a BDC.

For the money, I don't think you can beat any of the Nikon Pro Staffs. I have had one on my Omega for almost 3 years. It gathers light really well in low light and has plenty of eye relief. If I had to buy a new scope for any of my guns today it would without a doubt be a Nikon Pro Staff.

Two weeks ago I bought a $1,000 Kimber 84m and had the wife's blessing to spend up to $500 on a scope to put on it. I put a Nikon Pro Staff 3x9x40 on it that I got for $150 at Bass Pro. What does that tell you?

I have that exact scope on my 12ga slug gun with no problems. Plus that gun gets a beating every time out on deer drives. And the clearity is just as good as any high dollar scope.

I like my Nikon 2-7. Its a dandy scope and the price is very reasonable.

ogg, I have a Nikon Pro Staff, yes it's a good scope but I also have a Bushnell Dusk to Dawn ML Scope 3X9X40 that I got from Cabela's for $89 and it's just as nice if not better than the Nikon and cost almost half. The eye relief is plenty as I have it on one of My ACCURA's.
If I can remember right it's sighted in 2"high at 50yds, is dead on at 125 and only 2"low at 160yds.
