GOEX Can Spout - Make Your Own

You guys know I like to tinker and fabricate. (NO, not prevaricate, FABRICATE!) :s2:

Track of the Wolf sells a neat spout for GOEX cans, and the price isn't too bad. BUT - shipping adds another $5+ to the cost.

As an alternative, you can drill the back out of a .32 pistol cartridge case (the ones in the picture are .32 H&R Mag) with a 17/64" drill bit, and drill a hole in the can top with a 11/32" drill bit. Then push the cartridge into the hole from inside the cap and either epoxy or solder it in place. Works just fine.

OH! That little green cap is a twenty-five cent vinyl "thread protector" from ACE Hardware. It fits like Sabotloader's perfect sabots - just right .

That is really slick. Shame I do not have any of the .32 caliber casings around. Although Wal Mart close out had them for .50 cents one time and I bought them out. I think I got eight of them, and then I use a tire vale stem over to seal them.

Actually, you can do the same thing to a Pyrodex or Triple Seven canister top.

Just remember folks to not pour directly from the can into your guns, use your pre-measurer for that. I have seen guys on the range pour from their cans and they have been asked to leave the range.

Semi I prefer a 44mag.

OK, Do ya think I should empty da can of powder before I drill the cap and solder the case on or just close me eyes and let er rip? Seriously, that's pretty clever Semi. I will probably end up using a 38 spl or 357 case cause I ain't got any of them 32s around. Don't know of anyone who has one either.

Ya I think just about any cartridge would work. Im going to have to do that!
