I'm right there with you Cayugad. I've only shot them with GOEX and need to try some T7 and Pyrodex. Sabotloader, you may be exactly right. After all, my best load with the 300 grain Gold Dot in the Mustang is 120 grains T7 FFFG, and in the little X7 it's 105 grains T7 FFFG. One problem though. I bet I get hammer rebound with a hot T7 load in the Renegade.

I never do and I shoot large loads all the time out of mine.

I do not think you will.... I shoot 90 grains T7-3f with a 460 grain Bull-shop for a hunting bullet and I do not get rebound with that load...

I have shot 110 in my GM barrels and I do not remember getting a hammer rebound, but I have replaced most of my hammer spring with new springs from TC....

I also had a Friend experience the same thing as you Semi, but with a different ML and load. He sighted it in at 50 yds and was putting 1/2" groups in the Bull, he figured he was good.
After 3 misses at 100yds we went back to the range and he shot at 100yds, none of the bullets hit the target! He went back to 50 and they were in there??? With time running out in the Season he just stuck with 50yd+- shots.
So this goes to show you that you just cant sight in at 50 and think you'll be good out to further yardeges, you have to actually shoot those longer ranges to fine tune your ML for them and to be sure your gonna hit where you expect to.
Even a little off at 50 will put you really off at 150 and further.
