You did a great job (< :
Hope to see some shooting results. Looking at the grain type I don't think you could have done any better than you did at bringing it out.

I had a chance yesterday to try the new renegade 1 in 66 barrel twist.I can say this barrel can print excellent groupe.I was semi-bench shot of cross sticks at the 50 yard range
Goex 3F first load 70 grains 2 shots on target about 3" low next 2 shots I up the charge to 80 grains also used a Wad under the patched R/B 2 shots together but high 3".
My next load 90 grains of goex (no wad) 3 shots dead center all three clover leaf group
I will post the target as soon as I get finished with the wood floor

I did well to day with the renegade: The club had a small black powder shooting match 25 and 50 yds off the bench no rest
The renegade did bring home first place shooting a light load 70 grains 3F goex with Hornady 230 RB .017 patch
I shot against 1 flinter and a doz or so percussion locks Rifle.
I had a few onlookers that did say my lock time was even faster then some percussion lock on the line.

Very nice.
If you ever want to bring the grain out to show more especially in maple give the bare wood a coat of triaminic acid then sand until you have the look you want. Lee

Wink

She is beautiful! But it may be to pretty for the woods. I would be a nervous wreck thinking of how not to get a scratch on it walking through the woods.

Lots of good luck and shooting with her.
