I'd opt a shade more premium on elk iffin 165 is your fancy, not that it won't work.. though cheapie 150s er 165s atop varget make for cheap practice with deer-killing abilities

i just checked. i have a good suppy to reloads already made up, plus a box of 150gr FMJ hornady bullets to reload with. Maybe i'll check out some barnes and see how that shoots.

I'd bet some 168 ttsx's over rl22 would make a heck of an elk load
