Flintlock Shotgun
I was doing work in the summer on some guys house, he had flintlocks all over the place, only guns hes ever shot, he had one that he said was a flintlock shotgun, not a percussion. I was wondering if any of you know if they actually make them and pretty much if they do i would apprieciate any infomation on them. I got hooked on muzzleloading this year and would really like to invest in one if such guns are made! thanks

Take a gander at these...

I know they are a pricey but they are historically accurate and the locks/barrels/triggers are as good as they come...

Take a look at this site, Matt makes some pretty nice rifles, I own three, one being this fowler. Its a great small game shotgun as well as a good deer gun with a roundball.

I bought a kit from Northstarwest. It is a 62 caliber ( 20 guage ) smooth bore Early English Trade Gun and love it. I shoot 80gr. of black powder behind 1 1/8 oz of #6 shot and love it for small game. It will also shoot a patched round ball.
