Sights

I put a ghost ring on the back of my 44mag a while back and since then I have been shooting it a lot better. I can aim easier and quicker and I just like it better.

I was also shooting my dads AR-15 today and I really like the ghost ring on the back of that to.

So my question is, does anyone know of a ghost ring I could try on my Renegade? I dont want a full peep sight set up but just something where I could just replace that back blade with a ghost ring like I did on my 44mag. Nothing real fancy.

Thanks

Kirk

When I want a ghost ring, I simply unscrew the peep and you have an instant ghost ring. Works great in low light.

Hey Sharp Shooter, take a look at this old post. (You have scroll down through the first few comments to see all of the pictures. I didn't know how to put more than one picture in a post when I started that thread.)

You may be able to modify a TC sight in a similar way.

The sight that txhunter pointed out is a good sight. Because of my tired eyes I bought one for my T.C. New Englander and really liked it. When I built my custon 58 halfstock I removed it from the old New Englander and installed it on the 58. I did one modification on the sight. I drilled out the eye piece with a 3/32 drill bit to let in more light and it works great for me.
