i would try a wad or bore button with those conicals. maybe your your not getting sealed.

Hey Kirk, I was using both the maxiballs and hunters. The weights were 550 and 560grs. but can't remember which was which. But I got this thing in my mind that the hunters may have been the 560 gr. bullets.

Sorry to know that the GPB isn't made anymore in the .58 cal. It is a good conical in my .05 & .54 Hawkens.

I agree with the idea of trying a wad under those conicals. See what that does.
