I am a little doubtful of it being real. At the angle the head and neck looks out of praportion with the body. If it is real that is one fantastic buck.

That's Crazy! I don't know if it's another internet hoax but it looks real. The size of the body is way out of preportion to the head. Who knows. Did I spell preportion right?

There was a thread about it on the MLF. That deer came from some kind of a high fence deer breeding farm in Central Wisconsin that practices selective breeding and offers hunting.
The deer pictured was probably a very expensive bowhunting trophy.
Someone stated that the deer pictured was actually 440 lbs live weight and that the main frame 9 point gross scores 209.
The same exact picture is in the outfit's photo gallery. It's in the 4th row down and 3rd one over:

Thanks Arcticap, I too thought it was fake as it did not seem right. I bet that cost him the equavalient of one of them new Ford diesel trucks in the 40s. I would never under any circumstances hunt inside high fences and pay that much. I like to roam as the deer do freely and enjoy being out rather than paying someone to scout for you and set up bait etc.. where is the fun in that?

I found other posts that said the deer was from Maine. So who knows. Others claim the photo is a photoshop. I really have no opinion.
