I the kit sold by cabela's a good one? If not where can the first kit you talked about be bought. I'm really interested in converting mine over to 209's.

I think the kit sold by Cabelas could be an excellent conversion... the problem being you can not purchase extra breech plugs from them nor from Precision Rife the maker of the kit. I tried to get Cabelas to order some breech plugs and because it was a Canadian based company they said the could not. When I talked to Cecil @ Precision Rifle he was not interested in getting extra breech plugs...

Where do you get just the nipple from? I have several spare BPs but I can't find a place online to sell just the nipple.

These are what I would call a 2nd generation nipple... The original nipple came with a .030 'flash hole'. These new nipples have a .032 'flash hole' and the flame channel has also been opened up to accept the flash from the hotter primers...

I forgot to mention these nipples will not work with the Reminton hammer -you need the Canadian hammer.
