T/C #13 Bore Cleaner
Anyone know what's in T/C's "petroleum free" #13 bore cleaner? Seems to work better than plain old water but mail ordering ANYTHING related to firearms in Massachusetts is a pain in the azz now thanks to our wonderful attorney general.

you really do not need it... it was a good real BP cleaner - and I use to used it - but for me regular blue Windex is a far better cleaner....

You can use amix of water soluble machinst oil and water to make a batch of moose milk and it works and as a patch lube for target shooting w/roundball. Also a Simple Green and water mix for cleaning works 1 to 2part could maybe go as strong as 50 /50. I have used mainly cool water in my longrifle I plug the flash hole and pour water in till its full and let it set for 15/20min not fancy but it works

I have used T/C #13 and thats enough said. Never was impressed with it. Simple Green, 409, Windex, and just soap and water will do the same thing. Actually there are so many home made cleaners out there, I stopped getting the commercial ones. Although a favorite was Birchwood Casey #77.
That #13 looks and smells like moose milk. I will not swear that is what it is though.

I used #13 usually after a hot soap and water wash. But what I have found is that T/C #17 is a far better cleaner. The commercial stuff as mentioned is good too. Save the trouble and buy the stuff at walmart.
