Triumph opinons

I looked at one of these at cabelas at thought it was pretty nice. Are they an accurate reliable gun?

It is a T/C rifle. So they are guaranteed. Also the people's post I have read that own them seem very impressed with the rifle's accuracy.

if i could only have one muzzleloader(heaven forbid)i'd be keeping my triumph.it's easy to carry, clean and shoot plus has T/C's lifetime warrantee and great customer service......karl

Like mine real well, shoots great and the speed breech is handy. Got it on sale at Cabelas for $249 which makes it even better.

Thanks. Read lots of good stuff on the archives too. I think I'll pick one up this spring.

Can't speak for or against any of them but my BONE COLLECTOR is as accurate as most centerfire rifles and more accurate than lots I've owned.. great trigger!!! I hunted all this week in pouring down rain and the weather guard seems to be holding up just fine... 3 50grain pellets, the Federal Fusion low flame primers, the black sabot and the 250 grain SHOCKWAVE... it'll shoot under 2 inch groups all day long and for whatever reason, I think it's the low flame primer it stays realatively clean compared to my old tracker 209 and some flintlocks I've owned... I'd get the weather guard for sure, not sure how much it helps but it certainly can't hurt!! Now might be a great time to find one on sale after most of the seasons are gone.. mine was $424.00 and I'm not sorry I bought it.. great rifle!!! Don't skimp on the scope.. I got the Leupold Ultimate Slam..perfect fit!!

I was torn between the Pro Hunter and Triumph. I ended up getting the Pro Hunter so I could change barrells, but looking back I really really wish I would have gotten the Triumph.

I have one and they are very accurate and reasonably priced. I bought mine new for $327 last year. It is a breeze to clean and maintain. If you are planning on using a scope it will be a great gun for you. If you plan on using the open sights you may have a problem getting into position, that is the only complaint I have with the Triumph is the shape of the stock if you wanted to use the open sights. I use a scope so it is fine.
