I wish we could hunt everyday, but that isn't the case. So what is there to do that takes away from hunting time. It is always something, this year it is butchering. I should have been done a long time ago but I put it off to long. Here's the kids helping to get broilers in the freezer. 25 more to go tomorrow and I can get back to hunting. Bow hunting til Muzzy season on the 12th. Rifle ended yesterday.

So what do you do in between hunts??

I have this annoying thing called a job. It usually keeps me occupied 10 hours a day, Tuesday through Friday. But the good part about it is that every two weeks they give me a modest sum of $$ to go out an but more crap for shootin/huntin. Heck, I even have some left over to pay a bill or two...
I keep asking my wife to get a second job so I can devote all my time to my hobbies. But for some reason she just won't go along with the idea. And thought all these years that she loved me.... Boy was I wrong.

Hunt, fish, shoot, garden, play with the grandkids, cast bullets, build deer stands, cook up some gumbo and jambalaya, tinker with silly projects, argue with the woman who lives in my house, bushhog roads and shooting lanes, plow and plant food plots, surf the web, etc. MAN! Retirement is ROUGH!!!

Mostly think about hunting.

Play dungeons and dragons for 6 days straight and then sleep for a week.
