Endeavor or Apex Help Me Decide

I'm looking an getting either the Endeavor or the Apex for my first muzzleloader. I have always wanted a Pro Hunter and the new endeavor sure looks sweet. I recently started researching the new CVA Apex and I am impressed with the reviews so far. Now I can't make up my mind. I'm planning on picking up a .223 barrel as well.

I have heard several horror stories about the rifle barrels not fitting perfectly on the TC. I thought that maybe it would be beneficial to buy either rifle with the rifle barrel already fitted and then pick up the spare .50 cal barrel. What do you guys think?

I doubt you would go wrong with either rifle, but the Apex will do it all for less money. Finding an Apex is a bit of a problem just now, but that supply situation should be resolved soon. http://www.sunrisearchery.com/Apex.htm

Apex. Comes with an adjustable trigger. the encore styled rifles do not have this, most people i see on here have bought trigger kits for their encores. The price they charge for the rifles, they should come with a smooth crisp trigger.

I can't find an Apex anywhere online. I won't be buying until winter or early spring but hopefully can fine one if I decide by then.

UC nailed it. You can't go wrong with either. I've been looking to handle an apex too, they are in short supply right now. Never been a CVA fan, although the apex has got me rethinking that stance.

T/C or CVA? That's no-brainer. The T/C without a doubt. CVA may have improved and they may be better but they ain't even in the same league as a T/C. Spend the extra money and it will be worth it.

Can't go wrong with either rifle, But you get the quality you are willing to pay for. I really like my Endeavor.

Are going to get one of these two because you might switch barrels?

And I can only speak for myself but, I would not get either one of them, but them again I am not interested in any single shot centerfire barrels. So I would likely go with the Triumph or Omega and to be truthful it would be the Omega...

Hey, this might help you make a decision... wow!

I have a Encore BUT i would get the Apex or Omega and take the extra $$$$ and put a nice scope on it . The Cabela's in Lehi Utah had a Apex and it was one of the best looking and feeling guns i have ever shouldered .
