reloading in field
I see for pic that most leave the loading jag on rod in fields and put the ram rod in backwords but my tc cam with the delux rod and it won't go in backwords so do you just carrie the jag and screw it on when needed? Sorry for the dunb question it going to be my first year with a ML.

I wouldn't know because my Endeavor came with a TC Power Rod. It makes reloading a 30 second thing after I take a shot in the field. You might try to see if a Power Rod will fit the thimbles of your ML. Otherwise, I suppose carrying a loading jag with you reloading supplies would be the way to go.

I have a Endover I thought with the sockwavies you needed the jag? So with the power rod will not hurt the tip of the schokwavie? That would be great

boy i sure hope not. I got the reg.rod with my triumph. I just use the rod.Heck i did not notice the brass jag till i opened the bag the other day should i be using it.

Exactly.I carried a loading jag and just took a second to put it on.
My CVA don't have that problem, they have a jag on them. I use a short starter first. |

I use the shockwave or SST and just use the regular power rod. I have not noticed any differance in POI

I use a rotating head jag, I put it on for each reload then take it back off. When I build me new gun I hope to figure out how to use the TC rod with the T handle and leave the jag on and still attache it to the gun.

The jag stays on the ramrod of my guns. I use a golf ball with a hole in it on the end of the ramrod. Works great for me.

YES!! You need to use the loading jag or you could deform the bullet. I use a range rod to load up before going into the field. This rod has a rotating jag. I carry another loading jag in my pocket while hunting which attaches to my Triumph rod when reloading in the field. |
