Had some time to think in my stand today.

Has anyone ever had a ML that wouldnt shoot "ANY" bullet powder comobo? What I mean by that is, no matter what you tried to stuff down the barrel, you couldnt get anything to group right?

If I had that MLer I'd take a Chop Saw to it, then get a good shooter.

I've only had onelike that . A 45 cal CVA Kodiak Pro.

I have a traditional rifle made by CVA called a Tracker Carbine and it is close to that. I tried countless projectiles in it. All it seems to want to shoot is a maxiball. I was about ready to give up on that rifle.

Thats when you dumb a pound of powder down the barrel and stick a fuse in it and walk away. Ok well run away.

YES!!!!!!!! CVA Applo...Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation edition. Gun looked nice, thumbhole stock(camo) nickel barrel. We put a 4x8 sheet of plywood up at 50 yards and could not hit it. Tried every bullet known to man. Had to give it away.

First CVA Optima I had was a total POS. First TC Encore I had was even worse. Rid myself of the Optima and finally got a decent barrel for the Encore (an expensive trail of events, but I got that thing to shoot great - then sold it).

Wow, I am surprised at how many of you have had a ML like this. I hope I never run into that problem. Its amazing how much dumb stuff you think about sitting there watching the grass die. LOL

Lyman Mustang, never could get it to shoot, very lose bore.

Yes some Traditions and some CVA's but CVA has shown a major improvement in the last few years. Never have I seen a TC like that though I have fixed several for club member that had a minor problem that would make them appear that way. I would suggest you take time to call the technicians at TC if its a TC and if you can not get enough help to straiten it out on the phone then send it back it has a life time warranty if its a TC and even CVA will attempt to help you some times.
