Opening day tomorrow!!!
 

Well, tomorrow is our opener for gun season. It runs for 9 days. I will have the Genesis out for the week, shooting 80 grains of 777 loose powder, and a 245 gr Aerotip. Cant wait, gun is all ready, truck is all packed, (even tho my hunting spot is only about 10 minutes from home:s3:)

dude the deer i saw 400 yards down the road tonight was a BIG 4x4 muley. 3 bucks and a couple does just 475 yards from my area where ive clear cut some trails. Ahhh well i guess i have to settle for the elk that passed through last week LOL.

good luck. Hope you get one i get into the woods for gun season one week from tomorrow. Going to be along week next week. I should have my triumph monday so i will have a week to get it ready. Plus i go to class tuesdays and thursdays so i will have monday if i am lucky wensday and friday. Going to be alot of shooting. Plus i got to find a place i can shoot 200 yards. Ps i love having my spot right down the road i know how you feel. Heck i spend more time going to hardees to get my breakfest then i do getting to my spot

Have a Successful Opening Day! By the way.......how good is Mule Deer to eat?? never had it. Does it matter where you get him and what he's mostly fed on? I've only had Whitetail and Elk, any comparrison?
