Range Report
Well I finally made it to the range yesterday. I ended up not even using the new 209 nipple that TC sent me after the other one broke.
I tried the FFFG T7 powder with the #11 caps and it worked very well. No misfires hang fires or failure of any kind. I shot about 25 shots and just loosened the plug two times....the pink tape did wonderful. Only cleaned the nipple one time with a Q-tip and windex/alcohol.
I settled on 90gr T7 fffg, winchester magnum BP #11 caps, with the .430 300gr XTP in a crush rib. Last couple of groups were 2" at 100 yards....plenty good enough for a hunting rifle.

That sounds like my kind of load. You won't have to worry too much if presented with a less than desirable angle for the shot, and guaranteed pass through on broadsides.
