Well, I just put the end cap screw thing on all the way with my fingers. Doesn't seem to touch the stock. There isn't really a screw just a screw on cap on the end that holds it all in.

Seems to be a little confusion going on. I think djdkman is talking about a sidehammer gun, not a striker fired one.
