Bang Flop Doe
1 Attachment(s)
Went hunting at one of our places this morning. At about 07:00 i got into in a tree stand overlooking a game trail. At 07:45 this doe came along eating dry grass as she walked. Got a good rest on the shooting rail and fired.
The bullet entered about two inches forward of the diaphram, hit a rib and made a 1 1/4 inch entrance hole. Bullet exited high in the shoulder leaving a huge hole. The heart was blown apart and the liver jellied. The lungs were hardly damaged. The doe hit the ground and was DRT. Distance: 90-100 yards. Attitude: Angling away somewhat. Gun: .50 Encore Scope: Zeiss Conquest 4X32 Bullet/Sabot: 250 SST/Low drag Powder: 100 grains of Goex Pinnacle 3F Primer: Winchester shotgun |
