I have used them for many years with 80 grains of 777. Really good performance. I like them a lot.

Thanks for all the info guys. I ordered 200 of them and they just came in today. Should be set for a while. Hope I can get them to shoot in my Endeavor.

What do you guys think about this bullet? What loads and how much powder will it take and still stay together? Thinking about using it on whitetails and wild hogs.

My hunting buddies use the 240 XTP exclusively now for at least 6 years. Between them, they've probably taken 25+ deer. One uses 80 grains 777, the other 90 grains 777 with this bullet. I can only remember 2 deer shot that they didn't recover- both times it was a called bad shot. Other than that, mostly bang-flops, with the occasional deer that would run 40 yards or so before keeling over. Ranges for kills were 20 - 150 yards. Can't ask for much more than that!
