Had taken 2 does with them last year, preformed flawlessly!

I'm going to try them in my new Triumph soon, I hope they perform well. I did love the Barnes Expanders in my Knight

i've never taken game with them but have been shooting them out of a knight vison 250g tmz and they out shot the sst's using 100g vol. bh209.i THINK the yellow sabots will be to large for your gun tho .....karl

I've fired them out of my Endeavor and like them. But the T-EZ performed better for me.

I have used the 290 gr TMZ in my Triumph . I have taken about a dozen deer with them and they performed flawlessly and give me great groups in both my Triumph and knight Disc Extreme. I use a 100 gr T7 with them

Karl, please explaine, why they maybe to large for my Triumph.

Since Cabelas is just 40mins from me I may take a ride there today or tomorrow, what do you think would be better, the one with the blue sabot, etc?

Thank you,
Joe

Bowhuntercop,

What Karl was eluding to is the tight barrel of the Triumphs. I was unable to load the Barnes yellow sabots in my Omega.

You may be able to use the bullet but would probably need a different sabot.

joe-your gun may be diferant but like many others my triumph has a tight bore, the yellow barnes sabot with bullet measures .506,harvester crushrib and short black or MMP hph 24 all measure about .5035to.504 with a .452 bullet and work best for me.harvester makes a sabot for boatail bullets but i have'nt used them and do'nt know their dimn. or performance.good luck and have fun i'm pretty sure your going to love that T/C....karl

Thanks guys for your input. I have the Omega as well and since all T/C barrles are somewhat the same I will try putting one of the Barnes down the barrel
